I've used the AD588s (not cheap) in projects and discovered my second
Fluke 8060 (4 1/2 digit) was out of cal when checking out new boards.

Well for lead acid battery monitoring applications, you never need to measure below 10V and you need to be able to read up to just over 16V for equalising. ...
