Re: Need someone to design a light pulsing circuit

I can think of how you could build a circuit with a simple (and
extremely cheap) 555 timer, but the "ambient noise" part has me
confused. Is there variable noise generated from light bulbs that I
don't know about? The circuit you are requesting would not be very
large or difficult to build from a 555 timer - the hardest part would
be to make it variable, which also is probably not too difficult - but
I would need you to elaborate on the noise part before I thought about
it further.

I can't afford a professional design. This is only a hobby. I only
have three of these light boxes so I can't afford an expensive design.
I could possibly trade something for the circuit. Check out

A hobby?

You are selling other products but don't want to sell this one?

Give the guy a break. He's an artist. Have you seen his shipping
crates? They alone are worth the $65 to $200 he charges for custom-made
clocks.

Warning to the original poster: you should not try to market a direct
120 Volt line-powered product or else you'll invite safety related
problems such as overheating and CSA or UL certification, which you
ceriainly cannot afford. Use either an AC adapter or batteries. Then
you can assemble them yourself without fear of getting zapped by
electricity or lawyers. For a design, email me.
