them on the server so I can see if and when I want to download them.

Don't you have web access? I just punch over to http://mail.charter.net
(being that I'm @charter.net), log in and delete the crud that's
constipating my inbox if I should need to.

I also have two other addresses routed through POP3, so I don't ordinarily
have to mess with anything via webmail interface.
