The mess in Iraq is due entirely to the invasion and destruction of
the infrastructure by the USA in its successful pirating of the oil
fields and pipelines. The oil and energy corporations rule, their

of the unfortunate population's welfare is entirely neglected and
still subjected to "if it moves, shoot it and shell it".

What else do you expect if you destroy all means of government,
imprison the president, destroy the police force and the army, the
power stations, water and food supplies, government offices, telephone
exchanges, road and railway bridges, medical supplies, and steal the
beautiful priceless antiquities from the museums, and use the
ancient, still uninvestigated, ruins of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon
as parking lots for 50-ton tanks, etc., etc.

What a fine mess the US and internationally-owned energy corporations
are making of the 10,000 year old Birthplace of Civilisation. ( They
now have their greedy eyes on Central Asia, nearer to the borders of
China and North Vietnam. Developments can confidently be expected.)
All to maintain the price of petrol in USA tanks.

The best thing to do is to turn Saddam loose and allow him, in his old
age, to restore some semblance of law and order as existed before the
illegal invasion, the murderous bombing, the helicopter gun ships and
the guided weapons of mass destruction ( which Saddam never
possessed.)

That is what I call the raving rants of an ignorant old fart. Wow!
