I've never heard of a 100A branch circuit, in household mains. For that,
you'd need 200- or 300-A service, which might be a special order,
depending on what's in the street.
Around here for new construction 200A services are pretty much standard it
seems.
Don't mind the Grise ball. He overdosed in the '70s and doesn't know
what's going on in the real world. I've seen 400 amp service to homes
with electric heat in Ohio.
My house in Oregon with electric heat had a 60A service...
How many square feet?
1100 square foot 3 bedroom house.
I saw one house here in Florida with 400 Amp
three phase service because of the elevator and the 12" deep well pumps.
Ouch.... now that is power.
