The apologests can say what they want but many present day US Repugs do have
a lot of these traits in common. Many of them would like a one party system.
They definitely are authoritarian, nationalistic, militaristic and very much
anti-liberal. Putting simple minded, black and white labels on things is a
Bush trait. Remember during 9/11 all of the comments about the hijackers
being "cowards?" Well they were many things but "coward" was hardly among
them. Pejorative lables seems to be the norm these days whether or not the
labels are accurate or not. But that's what happens when when you are not
quite the brightest bulb on the tree. Axis of evil anybody?
