Not quite. You have the Republicans, who are very much like the Tories, except that the Republicans are in power. You also have the Democrats, who are very much like New Labour, except that New Labour is in power.

And we have New Labour, which is very much like the Tories, except that it is in power, and the Liberal Democrats, who don't stand a monkey's chance of ever being in power.
