The recent, well publicised scare about liquid bombs on airliners will

Will it though ? I'd have thought it might concentrate it quite well.

Is the 'liquid explosive' supposed to be nitro-glygerine btw ? Can't instantly
think of any others. Surely it muct be easy enough to detect.

We had a riot with ammonium-tri-iodide in collage. Safe as long as its
wet, but once it dries, "a little dab 'll do ya".

I made some once at school and sprinkled it on the floor of the
chemistry lab - lots of little explosions when it dried and got walked
on.

I went through 10lbs of Iodine in my HS days. ;-) Mix ammonium-
triiodide with alcohol and it makes an "interesting" paint.
