outlay,
I suggest
Cadsoft EAGLE Lite (will do small boards with 2 copper layers)
or
KiCAD: Open source (gratis and libre); powerful and fully functional.
If you have a Linux install, try
gEDA: Open source (gratis and libre); powerful and fully functional.
