Check out the pics .. note .. it has electronic compass and
barimetric pressure. so .. the thing in the middle with
with the ferrite looking thing, I think is the compass.

ahhh no offense .. but .. my problem is I cant FIND the piezo
on this GPS ..

are you saying that ... that round thing in the pic is it ..
I'm not saying you are wrong .. but .. the thing is made of
ferrite .. AND .. has about eight leads going to it.

I really thought that it was the compass .. ( just a guess )
