Democrats (aka "the ignorant ones") will be elected. The "moneyed
people" will pull out of the market.
Um, the Democrats ARE the moneyed people.
Take a look at the statistics for income, education, employment and
capital investment for red vs blue states. And don't forget the GOPs
whining about all the wealthy financiers (like Soros) backing the
'liberal agenda'.
The best thing we can hope for will be gridlock in the federal gov't.
