No, I don't. But what you truly do, if you carefully look at it, is punish a
few in grotesque ways which make a mockery of your claims to be a civilized
country, while not funding the system sufficiently to actually reduce crime.
This may be politically effective but it provides poor protection to the
public.
Canada has a very successful system for dealing with murder which does not
need the death penalty to cover up the real inadequacies in the system.
