Not unless there's a way to get the system bios to detect the drive.
so far you've only said that it wont boot, does the bios detect the drive
correctly?
install a boot partition on a low numbered cylinder.
Once linux has booted it should be fine.
not much help if your applications require windows though... some stuff
can run under wine or dosemu etc... LTspice works well, belarc advisor
almost works, vmware's another option...
