RE: AMPS FOCC and RECC parity generation using BCH

Hey guys,

I am tinkering and need to generate the 12 bit error correction code
from the 36 bits of data used by FOCC and RECC in the AMPS system.

Apparently I need a BCH code that has a distance of 5, (48, 36; 5).

Any pointers or help appreciated.
