Yes, I will. One of the DRM requirements for such players is that, if
they detect an 'insecure' output (such as analog component) in use, they
degrade the signal to a minimal level, typically 480i.
480i sampled over a reasonably noise free link still produces a decent
picture. Its what most people are watching DVDs with today and its a
damned sight better than the pirate content made with camcorders slipped
into theaters.
