As much as I dislike Hillary, I think our worst-ever President was
Carter.
Reagan. He had many, many ideas and beliefs. Every one of them was utterly
wrong.
Canning the air traffic controllers was brilliant.
Ask the relatives of those killed in the resulting 'incidents'.
"Mr Gorbachov, tear down this wall" was both prophetic and effective.
It was as effective as John Kennedy calling himself a donut.
Carter was a prophet of malaise, and Reagan was a prophet of optimism.
As was the captain of the Titanic - until it sank like the US economy and
the S&L industry both of which Reagan crippled.
Why do you think the Iranians released our embassy hostages on his
inaguration day?
They knew who would help them the most.
You may not appreciate RR, but a lot of Eastern Europeans sure do.
When you hear hoofbeats think Gorbachev not Reagan.
