On a sunny day (Thu, 08 Feb 2007 12:14:29 -0700) it happened Jim Thompson

I personally think diverse languages is divisive. Speak English or
get the *** out.
Wrong, in Europe _German_ is the most spoken language.
Funny, in all my trips to Germany, only TWO people couldn't speak
English... one was a small-inn-keeper, the other a gas station
attendant.
That is because of our superior (:-)) education system.
Before I even went to college I had Dutch and French.
Before you are allowed to an university you need Dutch, French, German, and
English read/write/speak as a minimum in the Netherlands.
So anybody (and I think they start earlier with English now) with
normal basic education above kindergarten, will speak English at least a bit.
But the reality of how many people speak what, look here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_language
Iran is near starvation already.
I do not think so.
I've heard reports that the Imams are fed up with Ahmadinejad, because
he's all mouth about world politics, while internally the Iran economy
is in shambles.
Daily news reports, to form public opinion against Iran, also aimed
at de-stabilising it, appear in the western press.
I see it this way: Iran has huge oil income.
US is shitting its pants it will start asking Euros for it, and so is Israel
because of nuke manufacturing.
So now Iran is the 'axis of evil', or the current bad guy.
And I know that I need at least a report from the opposite side to
see if any news is correct.
Sure there is internal power struggle in Iran, but Ahmadinejad is merely
dancing to the tune of the current religious boss (forgot his name).
So, OK, maybe US will attack them, maybe Israel will attack them.
But that would make a very radio-active Jerusalem... not something we want.
Peace is the only solution, and Israel will have to give in a lot,
maybe even have to give up being a Jewish state.
It is a religion anyways, a later version of tree worshipping, god of thunder
etc, so nobody will miss the religious rules really.
And same for fundamental Islamic 'kill them all' religion.
So let them have peace (preferably) or kill each other and then there will be peace too.
LOL
WTF do I care.
Peace is an internal experience, inside of you (yourself) it is a state of the human neural net.
Religion is a substitute for 'from this point on we do not understand'.
The old tribes worshipped the rain gods, I have weather radar, worked OK today.
And then when you start doing all kind of rituals and want to kill anyone who has other
rituals, rituals like that rain dance, but different...
State of the human race.
Do some meditation, understand your own neural net, and see what a bunch of clowns are
in the playing field.
Peace is a state of the neural net.
World peace as 'absence of war' is not likely to happen, especially when everybody
defends their own substitute for reality, their own trip.
Again
WTF do I care.
Do we have free choice in this?
No, not in my view, we are just a result of all the forces in the universe working on us.
Be happy with it.
But one can do meditation and learn more about the human being that is the playing ball, but
if you do ? Stars are created, stars burn up, planets are created, planets collide,
there but for fortune go we.
