They stole our winter. We're supposed to have winter,

The wind-chill in Ithaca, NY (where The Brat goes to school) was -12F
last night. Please take it back!
Errrr what's that in celsius ? Why do you guys even still use that ?
Damn cold obviously.
-12 F windchill in Ithaca? That sounds to me just a coolish day for
this time of year there, not especially cold! Heck, most winters
Philadelphia, even Washington DC gets windchill getting that cold. If
Philadelphia has a winter with worst windchill being -12 F, it's a mild
winter!

Cornell canceled classes one day last week, because it was too
dangerous to be outdoors. So naturally The Brat went sledding with her
friends.

I can remember around 1960, a storm so bad in Cambridge/Boston.
everything shut down, buses, subways, everything.
So we walked several miles down the middle of thoroughfares,
completely devoid of cars, to a party in Central Square ;-)

I love to cook with wine. Sometimes I even put it in the food.
