Nah, discovery channel is just documentaries for the dim. big on
cinematography, light on real technical detail.
Once in a while we get something good on TV, almost always from the
BBC. The PBS "Masterpiece Theater" series runs these here on Sunday
nights, so I check the listings for that. No commercials! British
accents!
Occasionally there's something interesting on The History Channel, or
as we call it The Hitler Channel.
It does seem to have a lot of WW2 doesn't it ?
I saw a programme about the problems with the Comet yesterday. It was probably
National Geographic. I cringed somewhat when their re-creation' of the event had ATC
call the flight as 'British Airways' 781. Aarrgghhh ! It would have been 'Speedbird
781' btw.
