I'm trying to find some engineering info on Polaroid's flat battery,
you know, the battery they designed for the SX-70 camera filmpak, and
then sold as an inexpensive flat OEM battery. Didn't they call it the
PolaVolt? Maybe not, because there's nothing on the web by that name
(except for some cyclic voltammetry stuff). Does anyone remember, or
perhaps someone has a data*** in their dusty cabinets?

Tradename *on* the battery packs from filmpacks for their OneStep
Flash camera: "Polaroid PolaPulse(TM) Battery".
Size: 3.50 X 4.25 x 1.70 (appx); nominal voltage 6.0V (after all of
these years, mine are around 5.8V).

Are these dims in inches? I thought they were about 1/4" thick; even the whole film pack wasn't an inch and 3/4; more like 0.7 for the whole
film pack, IIRC.

As i remember it, they use the Leclanche design. Approximate size of
the active area is 2.0 X 1.5; if you want i could
Snail one to you.

How about posting a pic somewhere?

Thanks,
Rich

Actual measurements; yes, inches.
From the 600 Plus film packs; obviously different than the PolaPack 100.
Maybe i could Snail one to you.
