Google apparently does not list binaries, and Qwest DSL does not work
with newsgroups!

Years ago I had Qwest DSL. It worked with newsgroups then. What did
they do now ?:-)


I found references on the web about some recent changes and that
creating problems. When I called customer support, they wanted to help
me set up my newsreader - I had already done that.

There are a bunch of pay services, offering lots of bandwidth per
day. Golly gee whiz, I wonder who needs to download gigabytes of
graphic images every day??

Naturally, those pay services with umpteen Gbytes of bandwidth are totally useless on dial-up...
