Some politicians might be afraid to tell it like it is but you can be
sure the wider population won't stand for any nonsense.

What are you gonna do when they are armed to the tooth (;-) and you have no
weapons? You fail to consider that what will happen is that they will all
pull out their AK-47s that have been smuggled in over the last 20 or 30
years. You gonna take that on with a shotgun? Good luck, it was fun while
it lasted. I guess you could pull out one of the "defensive" nuclear
weapons and use it on them.
