Bollocks.

Some politicians might be afraid to tell it like it is but you can
be sure the wider population won't stand for any nonsense.

They already have.

Such as ?

Does this count?

of_fear.html

Yes. I saw a similar report in the Guardian newspaper, (usually a reliable
source) and it sharply points up the level of political correctness and
government control that now permeates the education system.
The case in point was that an unnamed "Northern school" had dropped
(non-compulsory) subject areas that may have caused offence to their Muslim
pupils.
Highly probable though that with it being a "Northern school", it would have
had majority Muslim admissions.
Seems not unreasonable that the teachers (they have some choice what to
teach and enough on their plate anyway) would naturally shy away from
subjects guaranteed to generate conflict with the local mullahs and their
large Muslim congregations.
Where does it stop though?. Next year, by law, these same teachers will have
no choice and by law forced to teach "the holocaust". Where did this spring
from and who's pushing that?.
British history should be that contained within the history books we've be
fed with for the past hundred years and is about kings, knights and castles
and Crusades, Dreadnoughts, the Empire, the colonies, Thomas Telford,
Rourke's drift, railways and the industrial revolution. It is not to be
messed with by lobbyists and political revisionists.

We've a government long out of touch with the feelings of the indigenous
population and a significant, dangerous backlash is developing amongst the
'little people'
Our local level elections are coming up on May 3rd. My (good) local Labour
representative is clever enough to know the outcome and is running scared.

Anthony, you seem to know your sources. After May 3 watch out for the UK
keywords "BNP" and "fascists".
The government may have start listening to the people again ;)
