Here is the BRILLIANT AND INCISIVE ANALYSIS:
"Brilliant and incisive"? Reads like hate speech to me.
That is a problem with some Americans - they can't read an analysis of
America's less attractive imperial behaviours without experiencing it
as a personal attack. The American educational system does seem to
work hard at instilling this sort of attitude during the early stages
of primary education.
Astounding how many dearly love to hate on America, considering
we've been mostly leading the way out of racism and other ills
infesting the rest of the world.
Not as often as you'd like to think. Great Britain freed its slaves in
1807 and worked hard at suppressing the slave trade long before the
USA got around to tackling the problem.

Where's his "brilliant and incisive" analysis of American cultural
imperialism as embodied in our trying to give free inoculations to 3rd
worlders?
Or his analysis of the US pharmacutical industry's struggle to keep
the price of anti-AIDs medicines high enough to make sure that AIDs
sufferers in third world countries couldn't afford them?
How about his "brilliant and incisive" analysis of our putting
toxins in exported food products so they read higher in protein than
they really are? Oh, wait, that was China.
As opposed to smuggling genetically modified agricultural products
into Europe, where they are illegal.

Dr Polya, we are incredibly proud of you. God Bless you for your
courage.
"Courage"? Just another hater.
One ought to be able to criticise specific aspects of US foreign and
domestic policy without being dismissed as a "hater". America may be
God's own country, but the God involved is just as capable of stupid
design as the one invented by the "intelligent design" creationists.
Believe it or not, there are aspects of American society that could be
improved. The advanced industrial societies of Europe do manage some
things better - health care and elections do come to mind.
