Straight up, do you agree with his entirely one-sided hateful views,
or not?

It is
entirely one-sided, as you say, but I don't think that you can claim
that it is motivated by, or expresses hatred.

"The Blacksburg Massacre was enabled because America is awash with
guns, has a power-obsessed, abusive and racist culture and IGNORES the
appalling human consequences of its actions."

He expresses what, then? Other than his habit of lying, that is.

The man is trying to encourage you to reform the faults in your
society, in the style of an old Testament prophet. He loves you so
much that he is trying to save you from yourselves ....

News flash: we're doing that all by ourselves. Been at it since
Independence. That it isn't happening fast enough to suit him is too
damn bad.

The rate of reform is glacially slow, and the nature of the reforms
has a nasty tendency to favour the richer members of society. The
people who own the country largely run the country - I'm quoting one
of your own politicians here

http://www.secstate.wa.gov/elections/voterguides/2002/guide/federal2356.html?key=2005&office=2005

"Corporate and white collar crime is about four times more costly to
our country than street crime but only about one twentieth as much
money is spent on policing corporate and other white collar
criminals."

Much to his evident distaste, he is not in charge.

I'm sure that he would rate the chances of success of an externally
imposed solution to the problems of the U.S.A. no higher than those of
the externally imposed solution to the problems of Irak. All we can do
is to remind you that you have problems, and point out that other
people have devised more successful strategies for tackling these
problems than the ones which are failing you.

Granting his field of expertise and your national enthusiasm for
conciousness-altering drugs, he'd be putting his energies into very
different activities if he actually did hate you.

No, he's too much of a coward to try anything so direct. He'd rather
rile others into doing it for him which is typical of his ilk.

That's what prophets and reformers are all about. If we can raise your
conciousness enough, you will eventually get around to devising your
own solutions to your own problems. If we can fool you into thinking
that these solutions are your own, you will take the same proprietary
pride in them as you now take in the innovations that were the very
latest thing in 1787 - though the major source of your constitution
was Montesquieu's Spirit of Laws, which first appeared in 1748 - but
are now somewhat dated.

Your example of a non-cowardly critic would presumably be Osama bin
Laden, who seems to take the attitude that the only effective way of
reforming the US is to dismantle it and rebuild from scratch. Such
people are more usualy described as psychopaths.
