my nightstand.
That would have to be a mighty big nightstand to hold 2 of anybody's
reference monitors. They tend to be in the over 1 cubic meter each size
range and are correspondingly heavy.

They're not THAT big - you can see my brother's monitors at the bottom
of this photo:
