Perhaps you ought to read his recent opinion pieces.
townhall.com and National review carry them.

He has more smarts than all the DemocRATic contenders put together.
But he's not very photogenic.

I think he has the "presidential appearance" thing down pat. He's a
"personality." He manages to say a lot of what I want to hear. I
doubt I'd vote for him.

I'd vote Mc Cain.

McCain is anti-gun,anti free-speech;he's a co-author of McCain-Feingold.
No way I'd vote for him.


Or ideally one of the long shots(Mike Gravel or Ron Paul) because I
think the government is broken and needs a wake up call.
