The Bushists simply believe that their Beloved Infallible
Leader is perfect and can do no wrong - anyone who fails to
acknowledge his perfect Infallibility is an infidel, don't you
see? </sarcasm>

Nice Rich. :-)

I suspect that even Jim will admit that Bush hasn't handled his
presidency as well as he might have, at times making boneheaded
decisions that have hindered his effectiveness.

I particularly feel he has fallen short on border control.
He also was unable to articulate on and correct in a timely
fashion the wrong assumptions the Leftists/Socialists/MSMedia made
about reasons for invading Iraq.(and the strategy behind it all)

We should build ONE ten mile wide military base the spans the
length of
our southern border. Then, they will not only have to cross at
least two fences to get in, they will have to cross the ten mile
stretch, and at
least two fences to get in... (out).

Perfect solution, IMHO.

And how much do you think that it will cost to build, staff, and
operate? Where do you propose to get the money to pay for it?
Considering the 165 plus base closures in the past two decades, I am
quite sure that opening one single base would not be a problem.

Nobody wants a base that'll cost more than all the other bases combined for
nothing in return. And what the ***** has this to do with electronics
design?

We could design something that would do a better job for less money.

I suspect it could be done with fairly low cost electronics for each
node. A mass produced "there is a person here" detector shouldn't be
too hard to create. The little digital cameras are cheap these days.

For tunnels, I suggest a very low budget geophone be used. Digging a
tunnel takes a long time. The software would get to average a lot of
data looking for a wave that must have started below the surface.

It doesn't need to be able to figure out exactly where so just looking
for signals that couldn't have made the trib through the air may be
enough.

Nobody has ever proven that the giant sling shot method has been used
so I don't think we need to protect against that.
