The most critical component, the electric motor, is listed as "free -
salvage".

Many surplus outlets have them for a dollar or less. If you have to
pay tax, shipping ,or a minimum purchase, it could get expensive fast.

Like I said: "they estimate the cost to be $15"

I don't know any electronics hobbyist or professional that doesn't
have some junk parts laying around.
