fresh and joyful war). Or as the ultimate right-winger Ghenghis Khan
proclaimed:
"The greatest joy is to conquer one's enemies, to pursue them, to
seize their property, to see their families in tears, to ride their
horses and to possess their daughters and wives".
Of course Christians have always been a particularly joyous bunch, as
opposed to, say, the somewhat dour Persians who have not attached
anyone in six generations.
