Oh bollocks. Climatology has been a plain-Jane 'til now. Claiming
the sky is falling--true or not--has gotten them loads of money,
glamour, money, attention, and money.

PLEASE show us that the CO2-forcing has been measured, and isn't just
some Finnagan's Finnagling Factor chosen to make models say whatever
gets the most research grants.
