The libel lews are different in the USA. "Public figures" are pretty
much fair game for criticism. If, say, Time Magazine published
something that was untrue *and* caused serious economic damage to Mr
Gore (cut into his carbon trading profits, say) then he might have
cause for action.

Gore is a fraud, of course, and a tedious fathead to boot.
