Jim, are you truly ignorant of the Enron debacle? It is just one of
many.

In the US there is something called the Commodity Futures Trading Commission similar in purpose to the SEC for the stock market. The CFTC at any one time is conducting hundreds of investigations and assisting DOJ in hundreds of prosecutions. The Commodity Futures market is the most speculative and parasitic market there is, it serves no useful purpose, and is thoroughly corrupt.
