Re: James Randi Posts $1M Award On Speaker Cables

You're unaware of the Tice Clock and the Shakti Stones ?
Graham

Somewhat aware.

George Tice was news about 15 years ago. Use a digital clock to
enhance audio, but only if you have perfect hearing. The emperor's
new clothes trick redone. I haven't heard much about it for maybe 10
years (but I haven't been paying attention).

Shakti Stones have been around for about the same time. Hmmm... still
here today:

Both my JBL loudspeakers have a large decorative rock on top. However,
it has no electronic or metaphysical purpose. It's to keep the cat
from sleeping on top of the speakers and clawing the grill cloth on
the way up.

Bob Pease on the topic of electronic product hoaxes:

Welcome to the dark side. Looks like fun to me.

Hmmm... I was thinking of a plastic "coil form" for excess power and
speaker cord and cable. A round form for analog systems. A square
form for digital systems. Kinda like the waveforms. Seems logical.
