Comes with the windows firewall enable but that blocks the network. A
business PC that is network-blind, wouldn't that be something?
I suspect they're trying to "protect" the home user -- if you really were in a
business, the IT guys would have joined you to a domain and group policy would
have reconfigured all the network security stuff such that "it worked."
A nice surprise: This Dell Vostro is remarkably quiet and doesn't get nearly
as hot as the old one.
Dell does know how to make surprisingly quiet PCs.
