Type in sci.electronics.design in wiki and ....zip!
Does this mean SED is not worthy of a Wiki definition?

Anybody have any good descriptions for SED on Wikipedia? :)
(Ohhhh..that's wide open to some fun harshness..)

Wikipedia and associated sites seem to have something against
newsgroups.

About a year ago, John Navas and I put together an FAQ of sorts for
alt.internet.wireless and posted it to Wikipedia. (John did 90% of
the real work). He was told to move it to Wikibooks:
<http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/FAQ_for_alt.internet.wireless>
After a few weeks, one of the volunteer editors unilaterally and
without notice deleted all out content and kicked us off Wikibooks.
After an acrimonious and heated discussion, out contents were
temporarily restored so we could copy and move it. We soon found
space for it on Wikia:
<http://wireless.wikia.com/wiki/Wi-Fi>
About a month later, the Wiki server code was modified in some obscure
manner, resulting in the web page working for IE6, but generating a
dozen screen refreshes in Firefox before settling down.

Are you sure you really want something on Wikipedia for this
newsgroup?

Sure.. sed doesn't need a long write up .

Example:

Wikipedia
alt.binaries.science.electronics.design

A newsgroup 'mostly' with discussions on advanced electronics design.
Group started ________.

That's all...Nothing fancy..
