Hi,
I'd like take apart an old digital camera and use the LCD screen as
mini monitor.
I am trying to build wearable video recording device. The main
components will be:
- A small cheap disposable camera, I can install on helmet,
- A mic,
- A digital recording device, I am planning to you use SanDisk V-Mate.
It can record to Memory cards.
- An an mini monitor, which I can wear just like a watch.
Any body has an idea on how to use the lcd from a digital camera as a
monitor.
Thanks,
Mustafa
1: Get an analog video to LCD driver chip. You will have to research
those devices and the LCD you have, to determine if they are compatible.
2: Make a fully digital system, with a digtial camera, video processor,
, microprocessor. The video processor will be an FPGA or something, and
gate data between the camera, display, and memory, and do the video
compression/decompression. Or separate an all-in-on system, if possible.
3: buy a ready to use LCD video display.
