See, Unix is useful. It sent whatever text was hiding in the cut/paste
buffer. I'm not a really big fan of that feature either, but it's how it
has worked since the days of text terminal screens in Linux w/gpm mouse
support. See, Unix is also consistent. ;-)
Makes sense. I found a bug in my receive interrupt handler that
allowed the buffer to be overrun when it receives certain very long
strings. Sounds like a Windows exploit, doesn't it?
The damned code had too many states, so I simplified it a lot, and it
should be OK now. Happy ending.
