Congrats on the hip replacement. My college mentor, now age 87, has
had 5 of them - two on each side, with one product recall. He had the
last one at age 83, and drove out to meet us for lunch two weeks after
he went in. He claims they get easier simply because they cut through
so many nerves that going back in is relatively painless.

Question though in your Xray. What is the rectangular piece in the
center of the film, just below the bottom of the pelvis? Looks like a
chip. Did they give you and RFID implant?
