Is there a chip like that with more oomph? Doesn't have to be a Schmitt (would be nice though) but as usual must be cheap (<<$1) and somewhat mainstream.
If you are looking at the last graph on page 6, that is the current delivered or drawn from a 5 volt source, so at a 5 volt supply, the current delivered to a 5 volt source must equal zero.
It is a shame they don't provide a more informative graph for 5 volt operation. The best they do appears to be the RDSON curves.
Exactly. If there isn't a spec I can't use it in low voltage designs. Datasheets aren't what they used to be in Robert Widlar's and Bob Pease's time.
