That's an old fashioned mindset there, like anyone needs to marry to breed anymore. Hovnanian is Armenian, which puts him in more of the darker category of skin color, and possibly curly hair if he has any, so he's miffed. I have an Armenian friend who suffered the misfortune of growing up in Ohio somewhere. The locals (whites) called his family N's, and not in a good way, pathetic really. My personal demographic statistical surveys out in public show whites running at about 20% around here, and they "ain't zactly" what you would called prizes either.
