There is little that resembles **science** in the article.
This is the only thing that got a rise out of me:
(and bears a need for details[1])
Nathan Paldor,
Professor of Dynamical Meteorology and Physical Oceanography
"First, temperature changes...similar to that reported by IPCC
to have occurred since the Industrial revolution
(about 0.8C in 150 years or even 0.4C in the last 35 years)
have occurred in Earth's climatic history.
There's nothing special about the recent rise!"
This grazes the surface of **scientific**:
Geologist Ian Plimer:
"...work emerging...in the last few weeks
...shows we can have a very close correlation between
the temperatures of the Earth and supernova and solar radiation."
.
.
Of the few things that aren't presented as opinion
(without any shread of documented support), this is typical:
Physicist Zbigniew Jaworowski:
"...the entire theory of man-made global warming...is based on
ice core studies that provided a false picture of the atmospheric CO2
levels"
(No actual **science** included to indicate
why this counters those climatologists
whose models say it *is* GOOD supporting evidence.)
The article is further proof that poorly-educated politicians
continue to be unable to distinguish between
*consensus* and **The Scientific Method**.
.
.
[1] ...and would seem to refute the *ice cores are junk science* guy.
Typical leftist weenie response... only leftist weenie opinions
matter, everything else must be false.
Since the opinion presented merely points out that the right-wing
nutter arguments presented suffer from internal contradictions, the
leftist weenie opinions don't come into question.
When just the opposite is true.
Displaying the usual right-wing approach to discussion - the entire
argument consists of one unsupported claim. We can rely on him not
supporting it, because he kill-files opinions that disagree with his,
not to mention that the capacity to construct a counter argument seems
to be one of the cognitive competences that he seems to have been
losing recently.
