Just happily browsing earlier and then my mouse stopped providing X axis

I initially imagined it was Windoze that was brokem but actually it WAS
the mouse.
Now hat's no great hardship finabcailly for sure but it was an MS
ERGONOMIC Mouse Mark One variety, the type with the assymettrical design
nd the 'hump' that's a joy to use. I'm sure I have a backup one
somewhere but WHY don't they still make it ? You can get all sorts of MS
mice now but why did they apparently drop this one ?
