One thing that most of the socialists don't get is that there's nothing
wrong with the Free Market, "Big" Business, or anything else, as long
as Big Government isn't biasing the game against the little guy.
Instead the big corporate players stack the odds against the little guy.
I know of several instances where large US companies used exorbitant
legal costs to beat the living daylights out of a little guy with a
genuine prior art patent until he gave up. The little guy gets no
benefit from patents these days unless he can afford to defend them in
depth against very deep corporate pockets. eg
The libertarians are opposed to patents in the first place. They are
a classic case of the government interfering in the markets.
They also oppose all labor laws, all safety laws, and all antipolution
laws on the same basis.

The cartel ganged up on the newcomers and then made the business owner
an offer he couldn't refuse (approx £15k). They closed the works to keep
the price of glass high. The established players are still in business -
the bricks on order for the pending factory expansion built a small
town.
In the libertarian world, they wouldn't have had to do that. They
could just send their armed thugs over to shut them down. There would
be no police force to stop them and the local populace would not
likely be as heavily armed as the cartel's gang would be.
