Sounds like it makes Airbus's A380 wiring loom problems that held it up look
insignificant.

Last year, when Boeing started joining 787 body sections, some of them
didn't quite fit. They were out by around 0.75 inches IIRC. Somebody on
the shop floor took a photo of the gap and posted it on a blog. It
stayed up there for months.

The link is on my other machine (if I kept it at all). I'll have to see
if its still up.

Back when I worked for the 'Lazy B', they were pretty anal retentive
about people with cameras and other recording devices even in the
commercial division. It appears that their security has devolved into
parking enforcement.

Toward the end of my sentence there, I worked for a guy who was running
his s/w business on company time. I think when corporate moved to
Chicago, everyone just said, "The Emperor is far away and the mountains
are very high".
