Anybody know where I can get a cheapo 115VACin to ~163VDCout ~200WIf your just looking for isolation 1:1 you can pick up this for under
smps with good isolation?
The idea is to dodge buying a ~200W isolation transformer.
And to avoid doing something goofy like:
E*bay 12V smps + E*bay automotive inverter with 'Pure Sine'.

50 bucks. You couldnt build one for cheaper.500VA
http://canada.newark.com/97C7982/power-products/product.us0?sku=TENMA-72-6670&_requestid=24625
I got during one of there sales for 43 bucks. Ive been abuseing it
testing a flyback ,so far so good.
Nice tempting price..
But at 15.30lbs weight.. guessing $40.00 in Purolator ground shipping.
Rounding everything up... About $100.00 for the Tenma isolation
transformer .
Huh... :)
I can't imagine an smps near equivalent being much less expensive.
Thanks..
