On the other hand, there is no such filter on Christian fundamentalists
getting into this country. They are here already, living just down the
road in the trailer parks. They are easily led and warrant careful
scrutiny.

I've known a fair number of Christian fundamentalists and Mormons.
Some senior Masons, too. All the ones I've met have been very nice
people.

I never said they weren't nice. They're just easily led.

Even more so are "Progressives";
Some guys in the USSR used to refer to them as "useful idiots".
He was right. f-USSR documents have shown this to be true.

You've got to
find out who the guy is behind the curtain.

I've worked with a number of devout Christians. One comes to mind who is
brilliant (in his engineering field), a hard worker, very contentious
and honest. But every time the company tried to promote him into
management, he refused. I asked him about that once and he told me that
the same traits that led him to seek the guidance of Jesus Christ were
those that make hi a better follower than leader. I found that to be
refreshingly honest and a very good description of many Christians I've
known.

"know thyself",a wise idea.

In my work experience, there are technical people who are really ggod with
THINGS,but terrible with people, and they make absolutely LOUSY managers.
Managers have to be "people-persons".

The ones who do seek leadership positions, I don't trust.

Paul,the more I read your posts,the less I trust you,and I'm an atheist.

IMO,WRT religion, the real problem is in the leadership and organization, not
the individuals themselves.....Power corrupts.
