I'm really curious now....
Generally, what are your feelings about this Bill Clinton sex scandal
with Monica Lewinsky?
This will surprise all lurkers... I could care less.
Are you OK that it happened? ?Furious that it happened? ?Don't care
either way? ?Upset that he mostly got away with it? ?Thought he should
be removed from office? ? Or what???
But I do care that a President of the United States lied about it. ?He
should have declared that he enjoyed it and didn't think it was anyone
else's business; but Clinton has no REAL balls ;-)

I care that a President abused his position and underlings along with his
lying. That combined with his corruption makes him unsuitable as President.

I agree that persons who engage in criminal conduct while in office,
or who permit and support criminal behavior of their support staff,
should not continue in office.

Nixon resigned under those conditions - apparently, in thsoe terms,
the last honest President.

Not really, that was just to prevent being the first President to ever
successfully be impeached.- Hide quoted text -

Don't forget about Andrew Johnson. (1868).
Here's a list for next time...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impeachment_in_the_United_States#Officials_impeached

Nixon resigned becuase it was the right thing for the country. (I
think he knew it.)
Ford pardoned him for the same reason, though it would take 25 years
for the rest of the country to come around to that way of thinking.

My view: Cheney should definitely be impeached, (too bad we don't
use tar and feathers anymore..)

GW? - Substitute oil for the tar and we've got a deal.
GT? - (George Tenet, former CIA Director), would have been nice.
(But I'm not sure he held an impeachable office? Maybe Jim knows...)

Actually, this is the short list. -mpm

Nader for President... for all you goof balls ;-)
