Once again,
Terrell, you are STILL a total fucking RETARD!
ESPECIALLY if you claim to be in the PC repair business.
Have you never burned a CD or DVD as a back-up of a system you are
about to repair? No? Very poor procedurally speaking then.
You are probably one of those "I hate Windows but have to use it"
fucktards that reformats and re-installs instead of actually repairing an
issue at its source.
It appears that you already drank your kool-aid, fucktard. Every post
you make here proves that you are fucking brain dead.
I just can't wait till your stench ridden carcass follows suit.
You appear to like sitting with the burner, feeding it disks until the
backup is done.
I don't like to do that, and perhaps Michael doesn't either. It's certainly
not the best approach.
What's it to you?
Dumb***, I do not use Windows built in back up applet, and I don't
think it uses CDs anyway.
The fact is that when one is doing a PC repair, the FIRST thing that
one is supposed to do is back up ALL the HD data so that after the
repair, any needed personal files or other data can be retrieved.
And yes, when Gigabytes of backed up data are the order of the day, the
backup medium should probably be of Gigabyte size to accommodate.
So yes, it is the most common practice.
Now that we have USB hard drives and NAS systems available, however,
even that old practice is getting skewed, but that doesn't make it any
less a valid means.
Yet again displaying your willful ignorance. The hard drives are
being erased as a matter of privacy protection. The previous owner is
expected to have migrated their data already. Then the units are
setup again fresh for the new user to prevent malware contamination.
