interfacing circuit for college project

Hi all
I am Vikram varshney, student of Delhi College of Engineering. I am
working on a project for making a hardwired drive to convert 240V,6A
AC to 5V,5mA DC . I am not able to find a proper circuit for the same.
Please suggest me any solution of alternative.
